As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious behavior observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives to relay information regarding security-related matters.
Assist in implementing emergency response protocols and support evacuation procedures if needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related risks within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
