About The Position

Requirements

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Guard card is require.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Monitor and control access points, verify identification and credentials, and assist with visitor entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual occurrences with clear and timely written reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting security-related concerns and helping to deter unauthorized access.
