As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols and remaining visible throughout the property. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, demonstrating our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity every day.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, assisting with security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address any security-related concerns.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local contacts to maintain a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.
- Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to provide a reassuring presence to occupants and guests.
