About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or entry and exit documentation for a transportation location.
Monitor gates, entry points, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, including perimeter points, access routes, and operational spaces, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Communicate with site personnel, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requests, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns, and prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
