As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Concierge in DALLAS, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or access issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, traffic concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Support daily operations by communicating with dispatch, site personnel, and visitors regarding entry requirements, delivery activity, and/or security-related concerns.
