This role requires a six-month commitment to a designated fixed weekly shift, with the option to pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes when required, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations related to access control.
• Support security-related operations at a retail distribution location by helping to manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic, observing loading and receiving areas, and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
