About The Position

As a Security Officer - Emergency Response Driver in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, respond to incidents as needed, and support a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing and badge issuance per site procedures, and maintain required logs and reports.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and other monitoring systems, identify irregular activity, and communicate updates to appropriate contacts following established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear information to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, and common spaces, noting and reporting hazards and/or policy concerns.
