As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication to students, faculty, and visitors. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the campus environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, classrooms, residences, and campus perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the identity of individuals as required.
Support emergency response protocols and assist first responders when necessary.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and accurate manner according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the education location.
