As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent education location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing access control to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone entering the building. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occur at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the location, providing information and assistance as needed.
