As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment at an educational location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing security-related assistance to students, staff, and visitors. You will be the first point of contact, offering exceptional customer service while helping to deter unauthorized entry and responding promptly to inquiries or incidents. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency services and Allied Universal management.
• Answer questions and provide directions or information to individuals at the front desk, helping to create a welcoming environment.
• Report suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel to help to deter potential risks.
