As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is a driving post and will require operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter security-related risks.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols for educational environments.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in providing directions and general information to campus visitors and community members.
