As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be the first point of contact for those entering the facility, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, students, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and authorizing entry according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required by the location.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed to support a secure environment.
• Remain alert and attentive at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
