Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate communication systems, including radios and telephones, to dispatch security-related personnel and relay urgent information as needed within an educational environment.
• Promptly receive, document, and respond to incoming calls for assistance, emergencies, and routine inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatched calls, incidents, and security-related activities according to site-specific procedures.
• Coordinate with on-site security-related personnel to provide timely updates and information regarding potential incidents or ongoing situations.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response protocols by communicating critical information to appropriate parties and supporting on-site coordination.
• Provide customer service to visitors, students, faculty, and staff by answering questions and giving directions as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client-specific policies and procedures while carrying out all dispatch responsibilities.
