As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations across the educational location in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with students, faculty, and visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and campus personnel to support security-related operations and/or emergency response efforts.
