About The Position

As a Security Officer - Education Campus Patrol in Nampa, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the education environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the education location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the education community, Allied Universal management, and local emergency services as necessary.
