As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for and report any suspicious or unusual activity observed during patrols or while on post.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with campus personnel and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
