As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour, with a schedule of Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor directions and/or entry procedures, and document security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to site protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by providing visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
