About The Position

Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support established access control protocols for a high-traffic operations environment.
- Assist with site-specific security-related operations such as monitoring sensitive areas, supporting after-hours coverage, and communicating with onsite contacts regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or operational disruptions.
