Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including entrances, lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior while following established post orders.
  • Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel and support orderly daily operations at the location.
