This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile response and site coverage. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for service, gathering key details, and coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns to be reported through the proper channels.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management activities such as checking identification where required, verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate status updates to supervisors and site contacts, and help maintain orderly operations by observing and reporting unusual conditions.
