About The Position
As a Security Officer Driving Role Campus Patrol in Dania, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, observe lobby and exterior activity, and report unusual behavior, property damage, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Support daily property operations by providing directions, assisting with visitor questions, and completing incident reports, activity logs, and other assigned security-related documentation.
