Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a government transportation location through visible patrols, routine driving assignments, and courteous public interaction. In this role, you will help monitor assigned areas, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe public areas, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to post instructions.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
