Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity within assigned areas, report suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Support loss prevention and access control practices by observing high-traffic areas, checking restricted spaces, and reporting policy violations and/or hazards to site management.
