Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic technology and communications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols while reporting irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and site management with routine reports, incident documentation, and/or other security-related duties as assigned based on location needs.
