As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Driver in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises as part of access control procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
