As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Remaining visible at the front desk, you will greet guests, assist with inquiries, and communicate with professionalism. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as part of Allied Universal's commitment to agility, reliability, and putting people first.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Verify identification and manage visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate security-related concerns or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuation procedures when necessary.
- Adhere to all security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
