As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs discovered during patrols.
Work closely with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and maintain a welcoming environment.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while maintaining a professional presence at the government location.
