Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location as an unarmed, driving patrol officer, where you will patrol on foot and by vehicle, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support shoppers, tenants, and staff with service-focused assistance while documenting activity and working as a team with integrity in a caring culture that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance hazards, and report observations to the appropriate personnel per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, disturbances, and/or medical situations until additional help arrives.
• Complete required activity logs and incident reports, communicate clearly with management and local authorities when needed, and support access control and key control procedures as assigned.
