As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering the chance to serve with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or public agency personnel as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
Support traffic flow, crowd management, and public assistance during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professional communication.
