You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, support access control as needed, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications workplace.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, and report suspicious activity and/or hazards according to post orders.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and contractor check-ins.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete accurate shift logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative, and support investigations by preserving observations and evidence when appropriate.
