About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Lead in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper site communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized access when required, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and communicating relevant updates with Allied Universal leadership and/or property representatives.
