Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, then report observations to site leadership in accordance with post instructions.
- Assist with access control, after-hours checks, and/or closing procedures while maintaining a professional presence and supporting daily store operations.
