As a Security Officer Driver Entry Control in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity, checking access points, and supporting security-related operations as needed.
