Job Description As a Security Officer - Driver Checkpoint in CARMEL, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a resort setting, you will manage access control points, greet guests and staff, verify credentials, and help maintain smooth entry and exit flow. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting patrol-style rounds across the property and quick response to security-related concerns. You will deliver customer-focused service while working with a reliable, agile team that leads with integrity. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific access control policies at a hotel and resort location.
Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing deliveries, rideshare, and service providers to approved areas.
Monitor access control systems, alarms, and CCTV as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest issues, lost and found matters, trespass concerns, and medical calls, and complete required documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, back-of-house corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and support order on property.
