Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and security-related policies within a commercial office location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor access in accordance with property guidelines, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate building personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Answer phones, greet guests, manage visitor logs, and support badge or credential processes in alignment with property management expectations and security-related procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated property contacts.
