Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate medical, facility, and/or law enforcement resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare-related buildings, production and/or warehouse areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or badges, following visitor sign-in procedures, and directing arrivals to the proper destination.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, access activity, and incident response, and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
