Job Description As a Security Officer - Must Have Active Top Secret Clearance in Seal Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity to every shift while delivering a people-first experience through teamwork and professional customer service.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Maintain an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by post and area assignment.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization, manage visitor check-in and escort procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with scene management until relieved.
- Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, document security-related observations, and communicate notable conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
