As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or prohibited activity within the government facility.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed during emergencies or incidents.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related questions or concerns.
