Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Plymouth, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access points, report concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values integrity. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate locations within an aero and defense facility.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, checking for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and security-related hazards, and reporting findings per post orders.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and/or other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts using clear, professional radio and phone etiquette.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities and coordinating with on-site staff and/or public emergency responders as directed.
  • Complete timely, detailed documentation such as shift logs, patrol activity reports, and incident reports, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through the established chain of command.
