Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activity.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the aerospace and defense environment.
