Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including response activities during emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying based on location.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting any concerns according to established protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, offering assistance and information as appropriate.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
