About The Position

As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a regulated industrial location.
• Support reporting and recordkeeping related to daily activity, incidents, and/or operational concerns while following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
