Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns according to established procedures.
Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with site-specific protocols.
Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and observations.
Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures as required by site protocols in an aerospace and defense environment.
