About The Position

As a Security Officer - DoD Clearance Dispatch in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post for the location, following established protocols and site-specific policies.
Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to procedures.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities, including incident reports and communication logs.
Collaborate with onsite personnel and Allied Universal management to relay critical information and support security-related operations.
Assist in the coordination of emergency response activities, including contacting appropriate personnel and agencies as directed.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by addressing inquiries and supporting security-related needs.
Support the maintenance of a secure environment by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through regular monitoring and communication.
