About The Position
As a Security Officer Secret Clearance DoD Building Access Control in Santa Ana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify approved credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, materials, and equipment.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or operational disruptions, while following post orders and established protocols for the location.
