You will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and/or credentials according to established protocols.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to support security-related operations.
  • Conduct visual inspections of packages and/or belongings as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors to provide guidance and assistance as needed.
