As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will also perform mobile patrols as needed while representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, warehouse or distribution spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
