Security Officer - Distribution Patrol Specialist
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol Specialist in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a logistics and distribution location. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or irregularities during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the logistics and distribution environment.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts in accordance with site-specific procedures.
