About The Position

As a Security Officer - Media Property Patrol in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential risks within the premises.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
