Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Gate Driver in Stockton, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to a logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by greeting drivers and visitors, checking credentials, managing entry and exit points, and documenting activity. You will complete routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by a caring, integrity-driven team culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by screening employees, visitors, and vendors; verifying identification and/or authorization; issuing visitor credentials; and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, shipping and receiving doors, and yard activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss, reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing notifications and documentation as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter.
